First time bidder. Checked out this site and decided to go with Priceline over Hotwire (offered 4* for 69.00). Put in $55.00 for Downtown/Airport; also added West Hollywood and Hollywood areas as a stretch.

Got the room for 9/5-9/7 (Labor Day!) as follows:

Subtotal: $110.00

Taxes & Fees: $23.80

Total Charges*: $133.80

Well-reviewed, too. And to think that I was going to stay at an EconoLodge in a seedy part of Hollywood for $90.00 a night!
