giogio Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Posted September 9, 2009 In fact, I was trying to get a fancy hotel in a noble area for a honest price. What do you recommend?I was looking now at PRICELINE bidding and I've noticed that it is only for US & Canada citizens. Is that correct? Thanks

giogio Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Posted September 9, 2009 My budget is 150 US$ per night. May I have a 5* in the central london for this budget? Thanks again
Romelle Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 If you take a look at your dates and "Other Countries - Priceline" in the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins (center of page above), you will see a few London hotels reported. It will at least give you an idea of what might be possible.Romelle
thereuare Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 The Mayfair-Soho zone is usually one of the most sought after... and the most expensive. For your dates HOTWIRE is currently offering a 5* hotel in that zone with Restaurant, Fitness, Internet, Business, Spa and a TA rating of 4.5/5.0 for $189/nite.The above description matches previous reports for the InterContinental so that would be our best guess, if you are willing/able to stretch your budget a bit... or at least it would seem to make sense to expand your zone preference to include Mayfair-Soho if you bid on PRICELINE, assuming this zone works well for your plans (and you're fine with any 5* hotel, as determiend by PRICELINE)Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
