Priceline Hotel: 4* London (Kensington-Earls Court-Knightsbridge) Holiday Inn Kensingtn

I have been fishing for this hotel (used by Norwegian Cruise Lines) since Aug. 21, with NO luck (perhaps because I was trying to get it for $65 - $85/night). On several occasions before tonight, Priceline made counteroffers of $110 and then $104/night, which I rejected.

Tonight, my husband had had enough of all this uncertainty, so I went whole hog.

1st bid, 5*, Kensington, $90 - rejected

2nd bid, 5*, added Notting Hill, $90 - rejected

3rd bid, 5*, added Mayfair Soho, $93 - rejected

4th bid, 5*, added Westminster, $95 - rejected

5th bid, added 4* - WON

Not sure my bids make sense in retrospect.

By the way, I have been unintentionally entering the wrong security code for my credit card on all my bids, and it didn't matter until tonight. When Priceline asked me to re-enter my code TWICE, and then re-enter all my credit card info (I finally figured out what was wrong), I had an inkling that my offer had been accepted.
