Priceline Hotel: New York Sept 13-17, 2009

Any ideas on how to imporve chances September 13-17.

I have had no luck so far..I've used the links.

Prefer a 4 star but would go down to a 3 star in Midtown East or West.

Are MTE and MTW the only zones you've bid? Are you not interested in the other 4* midtown zones... Times Square, CPS, Empire State Building?

How high have you bid already?

I got what I think appears to be a good deal...Not through Priceline...At the Algonquin for about $200 a night for a king bed room.

I will probably stick with that unless I see people's luck changing on priceline for the dates I need.
