MadFlyer Posted September 1, 2009 Report Posted September 1, 2009 Yeah, I got the Intercontinental for 89 one night as well... really perfect for that rate. Just for your knowledge I had tried a priceline bid for this zone for this same night at 110 without success. I think what has happened is that so much rooms inventory entered the Madrid at the 5 star level in the past 3 years after several new openings and renovations completed. Without the number of reviews there are 7 hotels that meet the criteria with the Westen Palace, Husa Princessa among them. It seams all the hotels are jumbling up their listings with Hotwire on a regular basis and identifying them has become very difficult. I wonder if the Intercontinental has even changed as there is a similar hotel without tripadvisor info for your date for just 125. Well. no matter what you can get a good deal that night as availability is very open.
