IMCJL Posted August 31, 2009 Report Share Posted August 31, 2009 This hotel was listed as a 3.5* in BB's Priceline Hotel list today, but is apparently now considered a 4* on Priceline.Originally started with 4* for MTE at $160 (rejected), then added CPS at $169 (rejected), then added MTW at $175 and was accepted at The Algonquin. This averages a savings anywhere from 24% to 39% depending on the website. Not one of my bigger scores relative to the price gap vs. retail, but am still very happy with it considering the lofty hotel rates during the Labor Day weekend in NYC.
