lynchmob98 Posted August 31, 2009 Author Report Posted August 31, 2009 I just noticed that I mistakenly put this PRICELINE win into the HOTWIRE forum ... sorry 'bout that ... can you move it?Also, while researching this Raddison, I found this "review" on TripAdvisor which I thought would be of interest to this community ...Jun 1, 2009 | Trip type: Couples. We stayed on a Saturday night. I believe this is a business oriented hotel, and Saturday must have been a slow time because we got a great rate of $45. on a PriceLine bid.... so now, of course, I'm bum'd about my $58 "win" :-(But then I went to their web site and looked up their best "retail" price ...Room Cost Fri Sep 04, 2009 $114.08 USD Sat Sep 05, 2009 $114.08 USD Room 1 Cost $228.16 USD Estimated Taxes and Fees $34.22 USD Total Estimated Cost for 1 Room $262.38 USD ... and so now I feel better again :-)
yellowdog Posted August 31, 2009 Report Posted August 31, 2009 Congratulations on your success!Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding :) Rates are date specific so it's not safe to assume that you would hit the $45 rate for your dates. Have a nice stay.Yellowdog.PS. I have moved your post.
lynchmob98 Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Posted September 9, 2009 This sure did not have the look & feel of a 3* hotel ... and the location was tough (at a complex exit off I-35) ... the best thing was the "Sleep Number" king size bed ... the worst thing was the crickets in the room and the stairwell ... and that they took all our towels after the 1st night (rather than refresh them, ie. they left us with 0 towels and we had to call to get some) ...
AaronJB Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 Sorry to hear that the stay was subpar. :)
