Hi

We are travelling to Vegas on the 30th of Oct till the 2nd of Nov and was wondering what hotesl are these? They are all on hotwire. I will be using Hotwire as a backup and will try and get something on PriceLine Name your Price for 3.5* and higher.

5* Central Strip Condo at $109: Spa, studio, smoke free rooms, Fitness Center, pool, resturants, business center, high speed internet access

4* Central Strip Hotel at $119: Casino, Fitness Center, Pool, resturants, business center, high speed internet access, Spa

3.5* Central Strip Hotel at $89: Casino, Pool, resturants, business center, high speed internet access, Golf NEarby, tennis Nearby, Spa

Can you also recommand a priceline bidding as my budget for a 5* is 119 including any resort fees? I wouldnt mind getting a 4* for under $95 either.

Thank you in Advance

Welcome to BetterBidding!

HOTWIRE offerings change all the time, and these may not be the hotels that are offered once you're done trying PRICELINE... why don't we start with a PRICELINE strategy and take it from there?

Can you also recommand a priceline bidding as my budget for a 5* is 119 including any resort fees?
As you won't know the hotel you will receive until after a hotel accepts your offer price, there is no way to know the resort fees before you bid. I believe the only 5* hotel in this area that currently charges a Resort fee is the Trump, which is about $15/nite... does that make your bid price for a 5* hotel $104/nite? (if your $119 was 'all-in' including fees and taxes please let us know your maximum bid amount).

Also note that although in the Strip zone, the Trump is actually slightly off-strip, would this be an acceptable outcome?

Let us know the above and we'll take it from there.

Hi

Thank you for your advice. The max i would like to go for is then 105 without the resort fees. I really wanted to be on the strip then off it. I wouldnt mind staying in two different hotels either.

Thank you

I really wanted to be on the strip then off it...

Since there are hotels in PRICELINE's "strip" zones that are off the strip, you can't guarantee being on the strip when using PRICELINE. (and if you bid 5* and are successful, i think the odds greatly favor you receiving the Trump... off-strip)

You can almost assure being on the strip by using HOTWIRE as you can often have a good guess as to what property is being offered based upon the amenities shown before your purchase. However, the curernt HOTWIRE offerings are each a little higher than you're current maximum bid. If you chose your maximum bids based upon the current HOTWIRE rate, i wouldn't do that in this situation since it's not an apples-to-apples comparison. (since you're comparing off-strip to on-strip properties)

I would decide what you really want and what is really important to you for this stay... is being on-strip worth an extra $20/nite?

Let us know how you'd like to proceed.

Hi

We have decided that we definetly want to stay 2 nights at TI and 1 night at Luxor.

Currently i am getting 284.92 for the friday and saturday night directly from TI and $66 for the sunday night at Luxor.

Does this seem to be a ok price?
