When you book via Hotwire, how do you know what room type you have reserved (king bed, double, etc)? I don't see anything that lists what kind of room I got on the confirmation sheet.

Many rooms are booked "run of house" which essentially means that it will be assigned based upon what's available at check-in. However, some hotels do assign rooms and if you'd like to know what type youi've been assigned, or would like to make a request, you can call the hotel and inquire / make a request.
