Hotwire Hotel: 2* Port Angeles Days Inn

I went with Hotwire after a failed round of Priceline bidding yesterday; I placed three bids within 24 hours, all rejected, as follows:

Port Angeles - 3* - $70

Port Angeles - 2.5* - $75

Port Angeles - 2* - $65

This was the only offer Hotwire made in Port Angeles, for all hotel classes, which suggested to me that Priceline probably wouldn't be able to offer me a class upgrade either, which is why I abandoned that approach.

A disappointing purchase, overall; not a well-reviewed hotel and only a $5 savings over booking directly through the hotel. I had the Hotwire offering narrowed down to either this Days Inn or the Quality Inn. I was hoping for the Quality Inn, but I should have anticipated the Days Inn given the significant retail price differential.

Sorry to hear this was a disappionting win, but at least it's just for one nite and hopefully will at least suit your needs for this stay.
