Priceline Hotel: Need Advice for Vegas

Here's my plan, we are traveling to Vegas from Friday Sept 25-Tuesday Sept 29. After reviewing the calendar of wins for the same dates, it looks like I should get the Trump for $90 Fri and Sat night. I was going to put in another bid (5*) for Sun and Mon night starting around $60. Do you think this will work ? I hoping that I would get the same hotel (Trump) if I went with two separate bidding dates as I won't want to move to another hotel.

Another question, if Priceline doesn't give me the Trump on Friday/Sat night for $90 should I just keep trying until they do.

Any experts who can give me advice

I wouldn't split your dates for this stay, as there is no guarantee of the same hotel accepting twice, nor do the prices appear to indicate that splitting your stay would be a necessity.

What would be your budget per night for hotel?

well, no real budget but given the 15 resort fee, plus the Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins already has someone winning the Trump for $90, I would say that's good enough for me. The price of the hotels drops a lot on Sunday and Monday so why pay the $90. The Trump seems to be the only 5 star that is accepting lower bids so there is a high chance that I will get it again on Sun/Monday nights.

The Trump Las Vegas win that you're refering to for $90 was a 3 nite stay (Fri-Mon), so it already reflects one cheaper nite (Sun), so chances are that a 2 nites stay (Fri-Sun) would require a higher bid than $90.

As well, this property was won over 2 1/2 weeks ago, and rates in Vegas change very quickly, so there is no guarantee you will be able to replicate this win, and as AaronJB pointed out above, there is no assurance that you'll receive the same hotel on each purchase... i wouldn't recommend SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID unless you are willing to change hotels during your stay.
