jgolds6 Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 I am going to las vegas on thursday 9/17 for my anniversary and want to stay at either the venetian, palazzo, wynn, or encore but the prices are over 300 if booked through the hotels website. Can anyone help me with bidding stradegies on priceline (how much I shoudl bid and in what location) or on hotwire. I would really appreciate it...THANKS!
AaronJB Posted August 27, 2009 Report Posted August 27, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)What would be the max budget per night for this stay? Additionally, keep in mind that there is no way to guarantee getting a particular hotel, especially on PRICELINE. There's no way to get a particular hotel on HOTWIRE either, although one has a better chance of trying to identify what hotels are showing with the listings on that site.Let us know the details (star rating, zone, amenities) if there is a HOTWIRE listing of interest. Additionally, there is a list of reported HOTWIRE wins for the state at this link. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links when ready to book.
TC Truong Posted August 28, 2009 Report Posted August 28, 2009 Hotwire is the way to go if you want those specific hotels.***MAKE SURE*** when you choose anemities, that it has a CASINO symbol, 5-star, in CENTER STRIP. If you don't choose the casino symbol, you'll end up getting the dreaded TRUMP International.Good Luck!
