Got denied at $59 (hoping for Hyatt) went up to $65 adding River North knowing that it was unlikely any 4 star there would accept it.

What next add Lincon park and up my bid to $70 I don't hink there are any 4* hotels there

Your dates are cut-off in the topic title, what are the actual dates of your stay?

Is the Loop the only accetpable zone for this stay or would you also consider the NMA-River North zone?

What is your maximum bid for a 4* hotel?

nights are are 8-28 and 8- 29

sure I wouldn't mind NMA river north but I'm sure it will cost more.

last time we stayed at the Hyatt for $59 and there are other winning bids around that price but maybe this time they are more full ,so I need to bid higher, which is fine but I just need to know if I add Lincoln park area is that a good idea? I can't seem to find that area of chicago on here to see if there are any 4*'s in that zone

You shouldn't use any information on this board (other than instructions) to determine your re-bid zones. See this thread: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to confirm your re-bid zones with the board. If after reading the previous thread you're confused or not sure where to start let us know and we'll break it down further for you.

If NMA is also acceptable, you could use that as a pseudo re-bid zones as well... since it's likely more expensive than the Loop, but just as acceptable, you can use that as a re-bid zone as well. Should you get accepted there, you say you're fine with that zone and you'll have gotten a hotel for less than you had thought possible.

I'm guessing you have to be close to a winning bid, given the low (for Chicago) prices on HOTWIRE, with a 4* for $89 in the Mag Mile/Streeterville area.

While you may have to go to $70, I have to imagine that the "zone" has to be in the $70-75 range.

Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.

Congratulations on your win and thank you for sharing your results with the board.

Do you you recall your bidding history, as you should have been able to receive something in the Loop zone for $76 or less?
