Just won a Hotel Palomar booking from Sept 12 - 14 for $100/night using tactics outlined within these forums! Started at $85/night, 4*, and Dupont Circle, then added following:

added Crystal City and bid $90

added DC Suburbs and bid $95

added Bethesda and bid $100.

I actually wanted to checkout 9/15, but Monday evening hotel rates are so high, so I'll probably find a place in Georgetown for Monday night. Any recommendations?
