Daale Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 Firstly, I must say one of my associates introduced me to this site, and it is extremely helpful. Thank you.I am planning to be in Vegas from the 22 for three nights. American West is offering a package which prices the hotel for three nights at the mirage for just under 200. Averaging close to seventy including all taxes. Should I bother checking priceline for the hotel or should I just take the deal???

thereuare Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 Assuming it is $200 for the room, and not per person for the room, i think it's a good deal and i wouldn't try Priceline. If that rate is per person then you can do better. It also fits in wit my post here: Vegas One Exception I Don't Use PricelineLet us know if we can be of further help (and send a 'thank you' to your associates from us for helping to spread the word that we're here). Daale Posted November 19, 2004 Author Report Posted November 19, 2004 The price is the total, not per person. Let me share with the forum the deal I got. I am flying out of Toronto, on December 22, taking a package from AmericaWest. The package is priced at 442.50 including taxes per perspn. Then I found a few MGM promo codes that wouldn't work online so I called AW and they offered me a valid promo for $30 per prson so it came up to 412.50 per person. I calculated the hotel price based on the cheapest flight I could find out of TO and then subtract it from the total price for both tickets. Heres how it goes.Total Package for 2: 825Cheapest Flight -313 per ticket-626Hotel cost-$199I think I am going to take your advice and book it through AWV.Thanks for the help.
Daale Posted November 19, 2004 Author Report Posted November 19, 2004 For all Canadian travellers, sorry but those prices are USD, which is not so bad these days.
thereuare Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 One more thing i forgot to add last nite. Don't know if it's a factor for you or not, but in this PRICELINE LAS VEGAS thread it was mentioned that the Mirage pool may be closed during this time of year. If the pool is important you may want to call the hotel to find out yourself. If the Mirage doesn't work out, i did also find the Monte Carlo for $836 (total for two) and Aladdin for $868.Have fun in Vegas!
