yellowdog Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Yes, Trump has a $15 resort fee. If you would like to avoid this so don't bid 4* or 5* in the North Strip zone. And you have the 4*Westin in the South Strip zone with a resort fee. So your option is to bid at 5* only in the South Strip zone. If you want to stay at the strip?I would say that using HOTWIRE is the best for your stay.Yellowdog.

nohotmess Posted August 26, 2009 Author Report Posted August 26, 2009 $15 resort fee is not too bad. Is that per day? We really want to stay at the Wynn or the Venetian. Are they part of the southern strip? Didnt want to spend more than $210 per night

thereuare Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 If you search HOTWIRE for your dates there is 5* hotel offered in the Central Strip zone for $215/nite (your price may differ slightly) with:Casino, Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business, Golf, Tennis, Spa and a tripadvisor rating of 4/5 with 1780+ reviews.This matches previous reports for the Wynn... a few dollars more than your posted budget, but mention it since this appears to be a htoel that you wish to target.You could try bidding on PRICELINE, but as yellowdog mentions above you can then receive any hotel in the zone (and the Trump becomes a real possibility)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how you'd like to proceed or, if you move forward with the above, how it goes or if we can be of further help.
