catsmeow Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Hello again! I've used this site for confirmation and help on the past couple of hotels I've booked successfully! Looking for a hotel in Toronto Aug. 26 - 1 night. downtown area, would like to perhaps stay at the Sheraton. Can you tell me if the first one listed on Hotwire Toronto right now is likely the sheraton for $87/nt. 4 stars - fitness, swimming, restaurant, business center, high speed internet? Thank you. I'm also open to other hotels in general vicinity if you think are good or better options. Thanks for this great and useful site! (Note: last month stayed at Chelsea, identified by you, which was a great deal for approx. $65 - just would maybe like to try someting different).
thereuare Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 The above shows a Tripadvisor rating of 3.5 with 20+ reviews... the Sheraton has many more reviews than that so i don't think that's teh hotel you're seeing above.I'm guessing it's the Hyatt Regency with a 'missing' Shuttle icon which it has previously been reported with (i believe the hotel only offers a paid shuttle thru a 3rd party so is it possible that HOTWIRE removed this icon to avoid any confusion from guests who were then faced with an unexpected shuttle charge?? :) )Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. catsmeow Posted August 25, 2009 Author Report Posted August 25, 2009 hmmm. that wud be a good choice and location. i could go with that. can i trouble you for one more identification on hotwire as of now - $86 per room per night 3-star hotel in Downtown Toronto West non smoking, fitness center, swimming, restaurant, high speed internet, business center.Thank you!
thereuare Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 The 3* looks to be a match for the Radisson Plaza Admiral Harbourfront so that would be my best guess for this one. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. catsmeow Posted August 26, 2009 Author Report Posted August 26, 2009 just went to book and my first choice for 87 is now gone...waited too long, while finalizing plans. on a new search with 1 adult and 1 child, as opposed to 2 adults and 1 child, a different hotel came up for Toronto West $66 amenties B - boutique and restaurant. Is the the Soho? back to the drawing board
thereuare Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 What is the star rating of the Boutique hotel above? Are you comfortable booking for double occupancy (when it appears that you'll be triple occupancy)? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. catsmeow Posted August 26, 2009 Author Report Posted August 26, 2009 sorry, didn't mention boutique was a 3 star hotel. yes, 3 of us, 2 adults, & 16 year old, need 2 double beds, scared if book for 2, will receive 1 king bed. may have to go with 86/nt. you think is radisson admiral - just didn't want to have to walk all the way from riverfront, though i'm sure it's a nice hotel for cost. thanks
catsmeow Posted August 26, 2009 Author Report Posted August 26, 2009 can i ask for your help with one last one listed on hotwire right now, as we're heading to t.o. in the next couple of hours, 4 hr. drive. 3.5 star, downtown toronto east, $72/nt., restaurant, swimming, non smoking, fitness center, business center, high speed internet access.possibly delta chelsea?this one comes up with a search for 2 adults, but not with 2 adults and 1 child
catsmeow Posted August 26, 2009 Author Report Posted August 26, 2009 Thanks for all your help. I went ahead with the $86. Radisson. On our way
