xlsun2003 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 I intended to bid a 4 star hotel in Montreal downtown.Used Dorval airport area as a rebid, and got Marriot Montreal Airport. On the hotel list, there is no 4 star in airport area. Thus I thought it is pretty secure to use it as a rebid zone.Marriott Montreal Airport Hotel Dorval Airport Area (YUL)800 Place Leigh Capreol Dorval, Quebec H4A 0A4 514-636-6700Help!! Any idea how to deal with priceline to cancel?
yellowdog Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Welcome to BetterBiddingFirst of all, please post the price you paid and the date(s) for your stay.Sorry to hear about this. The best thing you can do is to mail PRICELINE and explain the situation. You shouldn't say that you thought this was a "safe zone". Just say that you made a misstake bidding in this zone. They will have a screen dump for your bidds so they can see how you bid. Also mention that you are ready to bid again for the correct zone. If they honor your misstake will the deduct $25 from your refund. On the hotel list, there is no 4 star in airport area. Thus I thought it is pretty secure to use it as a rebid zone. This is a quote from the hotel list. "DO NOT USE THIS LIST to determine what areas to add when attempting to bid again within the 24 hour window"For future bidding, read this link: Priceline Re-Bidding ExplainedPlease keep the board updated in this thread.Good luck!Yellowdog.
