Priceline Hotel: 4* Montreal (Airport Dorval) Marriott Montreal Airport

I intended to bid a 4 star hotel in Montreal downtown.

Used Dorval airport area as a rebid, and got Marriot Montreal Airport. On the hotel list, there is no 4 star in airport area. Thus I thought it is pretty secure to use it as a rebid zone.

First of all, please post the price you paid and the date(s) for your stay.

Sorry to hear about this. The best thing you can do is to mail PRICELINE and explain the situation. You shouldn't say that you thought this was a "safe zone". Just say that you made a misstake bidding in this zone. They will have a screen dump for your bidds so they can see how you bid. Also mention that you are ready to bid again for the correct zone. If they honor your misstake will the deduct $25 from your refund.

This is a quote from the hotel list. "DO NOT USE THIS LIST to determine what areas to add when attempting to bid again within the 24 hour window"

Update:

talked with several cs, no luck for second chance to rebid the same dates. Was told the system did not allow. Need to talk with supervisor.

finally talked with a cs supervisor, mutually agreed to choose a new date to bid again (previous 3 days, will do 2+1 days this time, ) 25 dollar cancellation fee.

Sorry to hear you bid the wrong zone but happy to see that you were able to work it out with PRICELINE.

You really need to read/understand/ask questions regardign Priceline Re-Bidding Explained as that is the only way to determine your re-bid zones.
