TravelGuy
Ladies & Gentlemen!*NOW* is the time to plan your summer vacation to San Diego! The U.S. Grant wants your business!Amazing to see a 3* downtown going for this low, particularly this one. Oddly, showing *sold out* on usgrant.net for both these nights, but available on Expedia for $189, where it's always the first hotel to be displayed. I think something strange is going on here. This is an independently owned hotel, and I wonder if they're trying to max out bookings and revenue prior to selling it. Either that or they're struggling, which I find highly unlikely in today's hotel market, particularly San Diego, which had the highest hotel occupancy rate in the nation last summer. Hopefully it won't be undergoing renovation when I'm there. Otherwise, this is really an incredible deal for downtown San Diego in August. I also suspect this rate is available for a wide range of other dates. Hope someone will try for below $40 - Miramar would be a free rebid, as would Coronado IMO at that amount. Link to comment
