I would like something with a pool in the Bloomington or MSP - South, just north of Bloomington

With Priceline you can't guarantee something with a pool.

Is it only one nite, 11/20, that you need?

I did see Hotwire offer a 3* hotel (by their standards) with a pool for $69/nite... don't know if this meets your quality and/or price criteria.

Actually most of the hotels such as Springhill and Staybridge were offering $69 per night so I was hoping for better.

So I went ahead and bid on priceline 3* and starting at

$30 for southwest zone - rejected

$35 for airport zone - rejected

$38 for burnsville (free rebid) - rejected

$42 for coon rapids (free rebid) - Accepted!!

Sorry about that - It was the Holiday Inn West on Wayzata Boulevard in St. Louis Park. In between Eden Prairie and Edina.

Actually those were the two zones I wanted, but this hotel is little off the beaten path...but hopefuly it works for us.

I am sooo glad I got the pool, my little toddler loves the water.

If you were looking for just north of Bloomington, this hotel at 169 and 394 isn't far at all. If you had actually gotten a hotel in Coon Rapids, THEN you would have been off the beaten path.

The Holiday Inn you got is a pretty nice hotel, and only a couple of miles away from where I live. :)

Per their website, rooms on a Saturday start in the mid-$60's, so $42 isn't bad.
