savings
I will be bidding for a 3* hotel in montreal today using PRICELINE. I will be arriving in Montreal on Friday at 4:00 am. Should I book a room for the Thursday and advise the hotel I will be arriving very late? Or should I book the room for Friday and goto the hotel and talk to the front desk to see if they can check me in early? I know check in times are usually mid afternoon. ThanksPS I will be checking out on Tuesday Link to comment
AaronJB
I'd book for the day of arrival (Friday) and then talk to the hotel about arrival times. While not guaranteed, they should probably able to hold your baggage if they cannot check you in early. Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase. Link to comment
thereuare
Assuming you'll be getting in after a long trip, if you will want to head to bed immediately and rest, i would book for Thrusday and inform the hotel of your late arrival. If you're willing to have the hotel hold your bags and go wonder around for a few hours (not sure what will be open at 4am) then i would book for Friday. For me, ~8am arrival is about the time when you could start to 'push' it try for early same day check-in... but even at 8am you could easily be told a room is not yet available and you may not be able to check-in until the afternoon. What are the actual dates of your stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. savings
I will be staying in Montreal 9/17/09 - 9/22/09. I just tried bidding and failed for a 3.5 * hotel downtown. Went 55 - 60 - 65 - 70. Got rejected I did not even get a counter offer. I thought I would for sure at 70. As most people are getting 70 - 75 for 3.5* downtown montreal. Oh well I guess I will try again tomorow. Link to comment
