Hotwire Hotel: 3* Allentown Holiday Inn Allentown City Center

I booked "3-star hotel in Allentown" hoping I would get the same one received in this Hotwire Holiday Inn Lehigh Valley win, because it talked about Jacuzzi tubs and 32" TVs on the Holiday Inn website. The one I chose, at $60, 8/22 - 8/23. It listed exactly:

Fitness

Swimming

Dining

Business Center

But the hotel I got

My comments on this hotel (address above), as a somewhat frequently hotel stayer

* Nice hotel, feels generally 3-star-ish (which is how Hotwire described it)

* Check-in was quick, friendly

* PARKING IS $6, added to bill !! Keep this in mind !!

* Didn't get a chance to try the pool or restaurant

* Seems like it will be convenient to Dorney

* I don't see that there is a free breakfast, but I couldn't be wrong. I like Comfort because they often offer SOME kind of free breakfast

* This hotel definitely has old SD TV's. I brought my Wii but this TV has ->NO<- extra (non-cable) inputs. Could not use Wii (no composite, no SVideo, etc). When will hotels finish upgrade to LCDs? This is why I wanted the other Holiday Inn.

* My room was nicely detailed and spacious, king, non-smoking

* Non bubble-tub but curved bath curtain hanger

* Free Wifi (very important to me)

Would I choose this hotel again, my only real complaint was the TV. I like to play Wii when I travel. Oh well.
