Thanks for the great site. I started several days ago not really understanding how to manipulate the bids. I found your site last night and did alot of reading and it paid off. Here is what I did to get my deal. ( I added all the details to help others understand... If I'm mistaken please correct.)

The location I wanted was in the TS, MTW or MTE with 3.5* or better less than $160

Starting bid was chosen because of the previous winner pages

PRICELINE through your link and placed the following bids

*4 TS bid $148 rejected

*4 TS, MTW bid $150 rejected

*4 TS. MTW, MTE bid $152 rejected

*4 TS, MTW, MTE, MSG bid $154 rejected (MSG only has 3.5* max)

*4 TS, MTW, MTE, MSG, UES bid $156 rejected (UES only has 3* max)

*4 TS, MTW, MTE, MSG, UES, Chelsea bid $158 rejected (Chelsea only has 3* max)

*4 TS, MTW, MTE, MSG, UES, Chelsea, CPS bid $160 rejected (CPS has 4* but I was willing to take a chance)

back to PRICELINE through your link and placed the following bids

*3.5 TS bid $138 rejected

*3.5 TS, MTW bid $148 rejected

*3.5 TS. MTW, MTE bid $152 Accepted by The Roosevelt Hotel

I could of wnet 3 more bids on this by using Chelsea, UES and Long Island because they are only 3*.... But I didn't need them
