Am I right that if I select a 3.5 star in the Markham - Richmond Hill region, I'm going to get the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North because all others in that region are 3 stars or less?

Thanks.

No, that's not the necessarily the case.

See the comments at the top of the Priceline Hotel List.

If you're trying to target, or avoid, a particular property HOTWIRE may be a better (although slightly more expensive) option since you can often take an educated guess as to what you'll likely receive based upon the amenities shown before your purchase (or avoid a hotel you're trying to not receive... for instance if you're trying to avoid a hotel, and it just so happens that hotel doesn't have a pool, you can 'safely' buy any hotel that shows a pool icon, knowing that you won't receive the hotel you're trying to avoid)

Too bad. I thought this was going to be really easy. :)

I'd like to get one of:

3.5* Sheraton Parkway North

3* Courtyard By Marriott

but not the other 3*'s in that area.

What would you advise?

Since my requirements were pretty specific and I was booking for someone else, I decided to book the specific hotel direct (Hilton Suites Conference Centre and Spa - thru Expedia).

Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
