oops, dates are 9/13 - 18, 4*. started at $75 have gone all the way up to $120, which seems way above other comparables late in Aug and in Sept. Suggestions?? Is there something going on this week that is keeping prices very high? Should I wait until later or just bite the bullet? Need to be in or near that area. Have not included MPL/GP becuase I had a horro show at Parker House years ago. Maybe I should include that zone and go back down to $80?

Odd that you have not gotten any bids accepted up to $120, when there's a 4* NMA-WT-GC for $104 showing on HOTWIRE for these dates.

any guess what hotels this might be?

No evidence of this, but looks like the Whitehall Hotel has been upgraded to 4* and that would be my best guess for the property above (which would explain why your pirce.line bids at an amount higher than this have been rejected)

If the Loop zone, other than the Palmer House, works just as well for your nees there is a Boutique property offered in that zone believed to be the Hotel Allegro for $103/nite, if you're looking for an alternative to the NMA property above.

I'm also now seeing a 4.5* Mag Mile for $139 and a 3.5* NMA for $125.

I'd agree that the 4* is probably the Whitehall, given the TA rating showing on the detail page (mixed reviews on the Whitehall - which is an older property - but one can't ask for a much better location.)
