hamajicky Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 Anyone have any luck with 5-star properties in Vegas January 9-12?Which hotels are included in Priceline's 5-star category? Thanks!
thereuare Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please look at the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE hotel lists to see what has been reported at each star level. It's not every common to find somebody with the same exact check-in/check-out dates as you (and one date can make the difference between acceptance and rejection), but if you'd like a bidding strategy let us know what you maximum bid is and we will suggest a strategy to follow. hamajicky Posted November 18, 2004 Author Report Posted November 18, 2004 Thanks for the reply.I currently have a reservation at the Bellagio for $139/night, lakeview, made through their website and was going to see if I could get the Venetian for cheaper. So I guess my max bid would be around $109/night.
thereuare Posted November 18, 2004 Report Posted November 18, 2004 Current rates are much higher than that so i think this is going to be a tough one.How long ago did you book the Bellagio? hamajicky Posted November 18, 2004 Author Report Posted November 18, 2004 Couple of weeks ago...maybe a month?
thereuare Posted November 18, 2004 Report Posted November 18, 2004 I'd continue to monitor rates, but since rates have gone up since you reserved the above, i don't think you're going to beat it.It's currently a very good deal you have.
