thereuare Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding! This looks to be a match for the Silver Cloud Inn (on Broadway) so that would be my best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. CarolPGR Posted August 21, 2009 Author Report Posted August 21, 2009 Thanks for your answer.HOTWIRE is up $10 on that same listing today. Once a price heads up does it stay there, and continue to increase, or is waiting for a price drop the best course of action?
yellowdog Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 CarolPGRThere is no easy answer to your question. See this link: Should i Bid Early or Close to Arrival DateYellowdog.
thereuare Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 You also have to consider how you feel about this particular property.... besides the risk of the price going up, there is also a risk that this offer will disappear entirely and be replaced by a different 3.5* hotel in the zone (HOTWIRE will only show one hotel at each star level per zone)I know this hotel gets some very good reviews, so how would you feel if it was no longer offered (at any price) and replaced with a hotel that is not so sell reviewed. What about if the replacement property doesn't offer included breakfast? How does the location work for your needs? How much of a discount is this to conventionally booked rates? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
