I am trying to get a hotel downtown toronto. I used the link here and failed with a bid for $60 for sept 2nd. Earlier in the year I stayed downtown at the Sheriton Centre for $60 and the Westin Harbour Castle for $50, both were on friday nights and I bid the night before I stayed.

Will let you know how I make out.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Is $60 your maximum bid for this stay at this time? You do have plenty of re-bid zones available in this area, are you using them to re-bid? (if you're not familiar with re-bidding see Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and if you're new to the concept you're strongly encouraged to confirm your re-bid zones before utilzing them)

I booked a room for the night direct through a hotel, which can be cancelled up till 6pm that night. I figure i have time to see if I can get a better price in the area, I don't want to change my zone as would I want to be down town. I am willing to go a litttle higher but figured I would try that as I got closer to the date. I am trying to becareful not to go to high, once you include the fees and exchange I would be getting pretty close to the current rate I have booked and with that I am guaranteed the type of room I want and the closest hotel to my plans.

I posted more so people knew my failed bid.

Great site by the way the information is a great help.
