I noticed that Fort Lauderdale has star ratings from 1* to 4*s. There is also a resort category below the 1* category. How do I proceed if I want a 3*- 4* or Resort property? I am looking for a room from September 5 through September 10 checking out on September 11.

Currently the zone "hierarchy" is as follows:

So a 4* bid could be upgraded to a Resort but a 5* bid would not be upgraded (since the 5* is considered 'higher' rated than the 'resort')

Thank you Thereuare and Yellowdog. I am familiar with rebid strategy, but did not know where the resort fit in since Priceline placed the "resort" below the one star property when I attempted to bid. I picked up a good deal in another way, but will keep the rules in mind for future trips.

This board is indispensable.
