elib8765 Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 I was thinking of placing a priceline bid for a 2-2.5* DC hotel in the whitehouse- downtown area and I'm wondering how much I should bid. Also since I'll be travelling in a party of four and priceline doesn't support this, I was thinking of booking two rooms, the way I see it if the bid for one room is accepted at <$55 , that would still be fine, I don't want to pay more than 115 per night. Thanks in advance, your website is a great help, :) .
thereuare Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!I'd seriously consider if you (and the others in your group) would be comfortable with a 2* hotels... ther are some areas of DC which are 'not that good' and i would question the specific neighborhood and location of a 2* property. You could also try searching HOTWIRE for quad occupancy and see if anything appears within your budget and perhaps at a higher star rating.Let us know the dates of your stay, and how you'd like to proceed, and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
