Gatormantann Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 I have read the previous threads but have not found an answer. I want to get either a 4* or a Resort. The issue I have is I would like to get 2 rooms because I am thinking that the chances of a suite are unlikely. I have 3 total adults and one child 2 years. What is the best way to go about this?Dates: 10/18/09 - 10/23/09Disney World Vicinity4* or ResortI have only used PRICELINE. I have no experience with HOTWIRE.Thanks for your help.
yellowdog Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 You can bid at two rooms at the same time with PRICELINE.If you're ok with one starndard room you can go with HOTWIRE as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy, and one room for quad occupancy thru HOTWIRE will usually cheaper than two rooms thru PRICELINE.If you would like to get help with a bidding strategy so please post your maximum/night for 4* and Resort. Is Disney World Vicinity the only zone you're willing to stay in?Yellowdog.
Gatormantann Posted August 30, 2009 Author Report Posted August 30, 2009 OK, I would like to go with a Priceline strategy for two rooms at A 4* in the DW vicinity only. I would be willing to go $200 a night for 2 rooms. Now, I need your advice on something; There are two room villas at Omni Championsgate and if HOTWIRE allows for bidding on that I would do that. Is this all of the info that you need to help me? Thanks.
thereuare Posted August 31, 2009 Report Posted August 31, 2009 PRICELINE and HOTWIRE reservations are almost always for "standard" rooms so you can't bid on a 2BR villa or any type of suite (except where suites are the standard room, such as Embassy Suties, Doubletree Suties, etc)I believe you're looking for a 4* (or better) WDW zone property with a maximum bid for $100 per room? If so:At the 4* level you have EIGHT re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* WDW...Bid $50, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $80, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $85, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $90Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes.
