Thanks to the posting of another bidder, I was able to jump on this deal for a day/night at the Frankfurt Christmas Market. $95, although I did start at $92, adding a couple of dollars as I added rebids. This is a $13 savings off what I believe is the HOTWIRE offer for the same hotel, and substantially lower than any other rate I could find. Less than half their non-refundable promotion of 149 euro.

Used your PRICELINE link. Thanks!

Hey man!

I was also calculating with hotwire deal $109 for my dates but this could be the Intercontinental (reported for HOTWIRE but ammentities don't fit 100%) or the Hilton (which has lowest rate for 5* in FRA)

11-12th is Friday to Saturday and Westin official rates are 149 EUR compared to my deal your discount is "only" 65 EUR :)

Each time I have bought with those amenities on the HOTWIRE link, it was the Westin. Note the Trip Advisor ratings also match. Intercontinental has a tennis icon. Rates at Intercontinental have been as low as $68 this summer. I don't like the location of the Intercontinental due to some seedy behavior in the area. (Note, I still believe it is safe- most areas of Frankfurt are, but I don't want to drag a teen through needles, hookers, and transvestites on the walk from the train station.) Don't know about the Hilton's icons or recent rates.

Since I paid in $, I saved over half of their 149 euro rate. (65 euro at today's rate.) I would suggest watching their site, though, because occasionally they do offer incredible deals directly through the Westin, such as the recent Dalai Lama event.

149 EUR is final price (taxes and stuff incl.) with $95 bid your total was $120 which is ca. 85 EUR :)
