Looking to stay in Clearwater Beach 8/18- 8/20 prefer Hilton or Holidy Inn. I am assuming these are 3*'s? Definitely want to stay on the beach and close to Pier 60. I have never used Hotwire or Priceline before and I am confused as to how to make sure I am getting a beachfront hotel. This is for 2 adults and 1 child. Sorry to be so vague but I am confused and lost.

The 3* listing has not yet been reported to the board/ID'd yet, but my guess would be Shephard's Beach Resort. The concern regarding the HOTWIRE listing is the 2.5/5 tripadvisor rating on the detail page, which would indicate fair-to-poor reviews.

In terms of PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, the only way to ensure beachfront is to pick a HOTWIRE listing with a beachfront icon showing.
