tjalana Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Hi there,Am new to this forum and just want to make sure i am doing this right5* downtown vancouver west, 30 august for 3 nights $106 a nightamenities are :Fitness Center.pool,Restaurant,Business Center ,internet, golf, spaim thinking its the Pan Pacific as the description says it has 200+ reviews and this is the only 5* hotel that has this.is it that easy.have a few questions aswell.why would a 5* hotel be $30 less than a 4* in Vancouverthere are two of us but we need two beds, will it be ok to put down 3 adults and only 2 adults turn up so we can make sure we get 2 bedsi think we can only book 3-4 days before . is that ok,i realise it might not be the same price if can.and last one:if we do book and have trouble finding somewhere to print the conformation,is it ok just to quote the reservation number at check in.thanks for your time and sorry for all the questions and ignorance
yellowdog Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!Best guess for this hotel would be The Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver.there are two of us but we need two beds, will it be ok to put down 3 adults and only 2 adults turn up so we can make sure we get 2 bedsNo problem, but some hotels use a king/queen + sofa sleeper. I dont know how the rooms looks like at this hotel.I think we can only book 3-4 days before . is that ok,i realise it might not be the same price if can.Sure, but the hotel might be gone from HOTWIREif we do book and have trouble finding somewhere to print the conformation,is it ok just to quote the reservation number at check in.No problem. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
tjalana Posted August 15, 2009 Author Report Posted August 15, 2009 thanks for the reply,it says The Sutton is a 4* on tripadvisor, how do you think it is this hotel :)
yellowdog Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Tripadvisor and HOTWIRE use diffrent grading systems. And Pan Pacific is not associated with this HOTWIRE combination.Yellowdog.
