Deviatorz Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 Hi everyone, I'm new here. Just found your site through another deal site. I hope I am posting all this correctly. I need help identifying a potential hotel choice. I'm trying to find something in the Seattle Space Needle region through the dates of August 22-23 (1 night stay). This is a one room booking for 2 adults. Here's something that came up from HOTWIRE:3* hotel in Downtown Seattle Center - Space NeedleAmenities: Suite, Fitness Center, High Speed Internet Access, Kitchenette $107/night and $20.95/ taxes and feesAlso, Traveladvisor gave a review of 4.0/5.0 based on 80+ reviewsSeems to me that this is Homewood. Can anyone confirm? Also is this somewhat of a good deal?
yellowdog Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!I can't get a clean match for this. But i belive that the hotel has added a HS-Internet icon to the listing. It's a match for the Homewood Suites when you look at the TA rating. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
Deviatorz Posted August 14, 2009 Author Report Posted August 14, 2009 I got a question though, I selected 1 room and 2 adults but how do I know if it's separate beds or on single Queen sized bed? I'm looking for 2 separate beds, thanks.
yellowdog Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 You don't. If we assume this is the Homewood Suites. I have only stayed at two diffrent Homewood Suites and both had one king and one sofa sleeper. You can check the room configurations at hotels own site. But HOTWIRE only book you a standard room. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
thereuare Posted August 14, 2009 Report Posted August 14, 2009 I'm looking for 2 separate beds, thanks.I'd re-run your HOTWIRE search for triple occupancy (try 2adults/1child as often children won't increase the price) which will ensure separate 'sleeping accomodations'... although in booking like this the second 'bed' could be a pullout sofabed or a rollaway cot brought into the room, but at least it will ensure not sharing the same bed.Does the same hotel (or anything else within your budget) appear when searching HOTWIRE for 2adults/1child?Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Deviatorz Posted August 14, 2009 Author Report Posted August 14, 2009 Yes I still see the same hotel description after selecting 2 adults and 1 child. I don't think I'll mind the pull out bed that much, as long as it's two separate beds, best would be 2 beds.
thereuare Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Best guess is that the above is the Homewood Suites, and if so, odds favor a standard room which would only have one bed (and a pullout sofabed)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide to do or if we can be of further help. Deviatorz Posted August 17, 2009 Author Report Posted August 17, 2009 Ok so I waited a day (needed confirmation from my friend) and now the hotel is gone. I found another one so I need some help with this. Same check in and out date but it's now Downtown Bellevue Area.3.5* Amenities: Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet Access$86/night & $18.76 tax/feesTripadvisor rating is 3.5/4.0Based on 40+ reviews.I am not sure which hotel this is, since both Hilton and Sheraton have pools and this doesn't. Also, I can't find the hotel with that rating on tripadvisor.
yellowdog Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 I can't get the same hotel to appear on my search. How many adults/children did you search for?Yellowdog.
Deviatorz Posted August 17, 2009 Author Report Posted August 17, 2009 1 room 2 adults.Edit: it seems to have changed to $85 per night. Just to clarify it's from Aug 22-23rd for Downtown Bellevue Area. Thanks a bunch guys!
yellowdog Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 Best guess for this would be the Hilton listed without the pool. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes.Yellowdog.
