zbls Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 I'd like to stay at the Hyatt Montreal from 8/15-8/18. From looking at the calendarofwinning bids, it seemed reasonable I could get this property for under $75.I bid for 3.5* $61/$65/$70/$75/$79, adding zones as per the tips on this forum. Each bid was rejected.Do you have any advice on how to proceed from here? Are there good times of day? Or is it better to start with a high bid? Also, I'm willing to pay higher -- do I run the "risk", though, of getting one of the 4* properties instead of the Hyatt? Thanks!
thereuare Posted August 13, 2009 Report Posted August 13, 2009 With PRICELINE you can't target any particular hotel, you need to be willing to accept a hotel anywhere within the zone that you select... i think you run the 'risk' of a differnet hotel anytime you use PRICELINE.If you're trying to target a specific property HOTWIRE is often a better option.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
