Does anybody know how much of a premium one needs to tack on to a PRICELINE bid to get one way rental from LAX (los angeles) to LAS (Las Vegas)? Avis and Hertz are the only ones that I know of who do not charge an extra premium for one way travel when booking normally

Thanks

You wouldn't add a one-way rental premium to your bid as this would be an additional charge paid directly to the rental agency. However, PRICELINE is very vague on this matter, stating:

There may also be a "drop-off" fee charged by the rental car company.
(emphasis added)

If Avis and Hertz don't charge a drop-off fee that may be less expensive than if you were to bid and receive a rental company that does charge a one-way premium. Not sure it would be worth the risk in this situation.

Thanks for the response, for other's information

Tried a mid-size and full-size one way from LAX to LAS for 12 days for early Sept. No success for up $25/day. Already have a full size rental for $35/day through Avis, so don't want to risk having to pay more for the oneway.
