Alkoflo Posted August 11, 2009 Report Posted August 11, 2009 Hello everyone,Some time ago my girlfriend booked a hotel in NYC on HOTWIRE for herself (She booked 1 Adult). She got the Empire Hotel for 9/20 - 9/26. I decided to travel with her. Is it possible to stay with her or will there be problems at check-in? (We don't mind a small room). Has anyone experience with this problems? Thanks for any help.
thereuare Posted August 12, 2009 Report Posted August 12, 2009 Please share the details of the win with the board (missing info is price paid per nite and amenities shown before her purhcase) which she can still view by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.... we'll then reply to your post above. Also, if she hasn't, please ask your girlfriend to share her wins with the board and use our PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin her future travel purchases.Thanks. Alkoflo Posted August 15, 2009 Author Report Posted August 15, 2009 Has anyone any idea with the occupancy problem?
AaronJB Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 There definitely should not be any problem with you and her. If it was more than 2 people, there might be some problem, but not just you and her.Enjoy your trip together. :)
thereuare Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 There could be an issue since the room was booked for single occupancy.Just as HOTWIRE offerings can change when searched for double occupancy vs. triple/quad occupancy, i have seen a few examples of different properties offered when searching for single occupancy vs. double occupancy... i'd call the hotel to inquire what type of room you've been assigned, and if you're told it would be assigned at check-in, i'd confirm that the room will accomodate double occupancy. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
