Thx for the site, took me sometime to learn PL, but was worth it, I encourage everyone to learn, no wonder hotels make $$$$$ with reg rates.

This was my first time, I got a decent rate, but there was room for improvement as it was a learning experiance:

4.0 stars

lax hotels- $40 x

+area 1 with no 4.0 $45 x

+area 2 with no 4.0 $47 x

----------------------

3.5

lax- $40 x

+area 1 with no 3.5 $43 x

+area 2 with no 3.5 $45 x

----------------------

3.0

lax- $40 x

+area 1 with no 3.0 $43 x

(When I got here, I believe every area had 3.0 hotels, so I picked expensive areas that would never except $40's (from other users experiance))

+expensive area 1 $45 x

+expensive area 2 $47 x

+expensive area 3 $50 OKKKKKKKKKK ******this was accepted for 3.5* HILTON*************************

PS- please remove the need to register, I imagine many people dont post their results do to registeration need, I was hesitant, I am sure we will get way more posters, I know its a method of control, but weigh pros/cons.

I am too tired to research more now, but can you do this for car rentals too? I saw something on PRICELINE..
