The top one looks like it could be either the Palazzo or the Venetian

The second one looks like it could be the Venetian or Wynn. You should think about posting this in the Nevada section of the site. Its current location in "Priceline-Texas" is a bit out of place.

Thanks! Travel dates are either or...

PlanA: grand canyon wednesday night, las vegas thurs and fri

PlanB: las vegas wed and thurs, grand canyon fri

leaning towards plan A as would like to rest for the last 2 days of the trip instead of having to drive back from grand canyon to catch LAS flight on Sat night (drawback: las vegas hotel will be more expensive on the friday)

This is a match for both Palazzo and Venetian. Sorry to say that there's no way to favor any hotel for the moment. But not a bad choice if you ask me :)

$169/night/room (Aug20-Aug22) - 2 rooms/6 people

Is this a good deal?

Posted

Sorry, yes there was a pool

$143 was for 4 ppl

$169 was for 6 ppl

There are 7 of us going but when I do a search for 7 on hotwire, no 5* ones appear

Should I book the $143 and hope they provide 2 beds?

Thanks for your help!

Ok, with the pool is that a match for Venetian.

But you have lost me here!

Let's start over since you never told me about searching for 2 rooms. I might have gotten diffrent results if i knew this. My answers is from searching one room with 2 ppl.

Post the complete amentites, how many rooms and ppl in the party and the dates you searched for.

There are 7 adults going, but if I run a search on Hotwire using 7 ppl, no 5* hotels come up.

Would it be ok to book the $143 if there are 7 of us?

Thanks!

The standard rooms on Venetian (that PRICELINE books) got 1 king bed and 1 sofa-sleeper. And they charge you extra for a suite with 2 beds if they have any upgrades. The standard rooms at Palazzo looks the same as Venetian with 1 bed and 1 sofa-sleeper. I have never seen any post with problems for an paid upgrade at Venetian for PRICELINE guests. I can't speak for Palazzo.

For the Venetian, whether I book for 4 ppl (2 rooms - 2 adults per room) or 6 ppl (2 rooms - 3 adults per room) they will still give us the standard King room?

It's entirely possible since there is a pullout sofabed, thereby providing what is guarnateed... sleeping accomodations for everyone you included on your search.
