hugh_dog Posted August 11, 2009 Report Share Posted August 11, 2009 I was originally bidding on dates from 8-26 to 8-31, and bid all the way up to $110 for a resort in the West area of San Antonio, but we switched the dates, to dates that Sea World wasn't open, selected the resort and West, and on the first bid of $55 got the Hilton Hill Country Hotel & Spa, which would be great for sleeping, but no Sea World. Resubmitted a new request for these dates, and are now stoked. Had to try a couple of days working between $50 to $115 a night. First try tonight we landed it at $55 again. We'll hopefully spend most waking minutes at Sea World, or the Zoo, or that Hill Country Ranch. I used the PRICELINE link. We're super excited, and we appreciate this site existing. Thanks also to saso for the heads up about Sea World being closed.
