Priceline Hotel: 4* Boston (Harbor-AQU Zone)

Is there any evidence of another 4* in this zone : 4* Boston (Harbor Front-Aquarium)?

I don't seem to recall this zone just a few months ago.

Of course, I understand that things can change (daily).

Just wanted to see if I could use a 4* bid for this zone, and then use re-bids (less than 4*) to help secure the IC.

Wow, that's a CRAZY FAST reply. I know the Westin-Waterfront is 'right down the road' (actually visible form my room @ the IC-Boston last month); though that is clearly (from my research) NOT in that zone.

There don't seem to be many other 4* hotels in that zone (per the map), other than the Boston Harbor Hotel, IIRC -- though, that's really a 5* property.

I 'really' want to get the IC, though, I am also well aware that there are no guarantees with Priceline. Of course, I'll try to dissect the map a bit more to see what the other 'possible' 4* hotels would be. Seems to me, that this is a bit of a 'micro-zone' for lack of a better term.

Moved this to its own thread so that this thread can be used for this discussion (since it was for a different trip than the original poster's in that thread.) The Boston Harbor Hotel has also never been reported (at least as of yet) as a PRICELINE win.

Not sure what other 4*'s are in this zone; doesn't really seem to be any when looking at various maps.

Well, thank you so much for confirming what I was pretty certain of.

I'll make the decision later this evening, if I should 'risk' the bid; and, of course, will use your PRICELINE link to bid.

I was going to 'burn' a promo free night I just earned during the Priority Club Summer Promotion @ this property, but it sort of seems silly if I can get the IC-Boston for under $110. In addition, I have 'good reason' to believe that while I won't get stay credit or points, this property will honor my Intercontinental Gold Ambassador Status on opaque bookings. (for my other 'non point related' benefits)
