Hotwire Hotel: 4* NYC (Times Square-Theater District) Crowne Plaza

Please help identify this hotel, fitness, restaurant, buisness center & internet. I have a $149 quote for the dates of 12/25 - 12/30 with 2 adults 2 children. Is it the Crowne Plaza?

I've stayed at the Omni and Intercontinental- Barclay before and would like to stay somewhere just as nice, it will be my hubby's first vacation in over a decade and also special because it's our Christmas celebration, I will be traveling with my two kids who are scrawney and don't take up much space but are still teens at 14 & 12. :)

I see that this sight is really useful with a lot of tips and advice.

Is this the best deal I can find?

Unfortunately, this hotel has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board. It would not match the Crowne Plaza on the tripadvisor rating showing on the detail page, so this would likely be a different property. Unfortunately, I'm not having much luck finding an exact match on the tripadvisor rating, either. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I will say that this is an impressive rate for the days leading up to NYE and an even more impressive rate, considering that quad/4 occupancy in NYC is rare enough to often come with a premium.

I can't even believe it but the price jumped up to $239! Is this normal? :)

Can you help identify 3* MTC with fitness, pool, restaurant and internet? Tripadvisor is 3.5 out of 5 with 480+

Unfortunately, it does happen with HOTWIRE listings - the price can jump at any time, although that's a pretty steep jump. A 3* MTC with those amenities would be a likely match for the Holiday Inn Midtown.

I booked Christmas night for the 4* Times Square hotel with fitness, restaurant, buisness center and internet and it was Crowne Plaza! I got it for $133. and used the site's HOTWIRE link. Unfortunately that was the only night available at an awesome rate for my dates of travel, so, I am hoping to find something else close to that price range. Ideally, I do not want to go over $150 per night. 12/26-12/30. Any suggestions?
