I think I am the first one getting a 2* hotel room in SEA airport / Kent- Renton region in this passing year or two.

Haven't seen this hotel listed in the state hotel list yet.

This was our last day in Seattle and we had to leave to the SEA airport in the very early morning.

I was hoping to get a place at SEA Airport region, but most of the 3* hotels there charge extra $16~$20 for parking (eg. DoubleTree and Hilton) even you can get it easily at $40 a night (based on so many fellow's posts in this board, thank you). I decided to go to 2.5* or 2* in that region (SEA airport) since those hotels generally offer free parking.

1st attempt: 2.5* in "SEA" region at $35 failed.

2nd attempt: 2.5* in "SEA" & "Kent-Renton" region at $37 failed.

Because I knew at $40 I will be automatically upgraded and get 3* Hilton or DoubleTree, I wouldn't like to raise the price anymore.

I then decided to go even lower price for 2-star hotel.

3rd attempt: downgrade to 2* and remain the same regions ("SEA" & "Kent-Renton"), asked for $29 and was accepted.

It's a suite, even better! Original price $65 for a two-bed room.

No breakfast, but it's ok since we had to leave real early and wouldn't have time to have breakfast anyway.
