Hotwire Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Center Strip) Planet Hollywood

Hey everyone,

Great website - hope I used the HOTWIRE link correctly, was looking at the 5* (Wynn) at first, but liked the reviews I read for Planet Hollywood (4* Central Strip) and the lower price $139 night, given with:

Casino

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

Business Center

High-speed Internet Access

Spa Services

Trip is for Thurs Sept. 24 through Sunday Sept. 27. Anything else, let me know, great site!

Uh-oh! Hotwire's been beat!!!

After booking, I started browsing the Planet Hollywood site more thoroughly - if you sign up for their a-List players card, you are directed to a page with "Special Rates" which, for the nights I'm staying were actually LESS that HOTWIRE by a little (130.66/night versus 139)

So I went through HOTWIRE's Price Match Guarentee portion on their website which says that if verified, they'll pay double the difference - so $8 night *3 nights = $24 * 2 = roughly a $48 reduction in my cost if everything goes through as they say. I will update this post once I've heard back from Hotwire.

Well, no deal. Hotwire was quick to get back to me on the "Double the Difference" option, however, they maintain that the rate I found does not count since it is "Not available to the General Public" - which feels like they're cheating a little, but really for 8 dollars and change I'm not going to quibble too much - for Planet Hollywood, check their site and sign up for their a-list option to check those special rates before locking yourself in!
