Hello,

I have never used Priceline before and I need some help.

I want to book some accomodation for my sister and myself in the Waikiki Beach area from 21 September 2009 to 05 October 2009.

I would love to stay at the Hyatt or Westin.

But I know I am not guranteed either of them. I am happy to bid $99, but I do not want to get a hotel that is too far away near Saratoga Road or Beachwalk and Lewers.

Do you think I would I get a Hotel near there if I bid at $99 for a 4 star deluxe hotel?

Or should I bid less or more then $99.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I feel quit4e confused by the whole process...

Thank you :)

Welcome to the site. The PRICELINE website has maps of the "zone" (area that you are bidding for) and it's best to study that map, as if you bid that area, you could get a hotel anywhere within that zone.

A two-week trip may cause trouble in terms of getting a hotel with PRICELINE availability for the entire trip, but it's worth a try. The Hyatt is showing sold out for these dates, as are a few other properties in the area. If you would like to try $99, I'd try bidding for a Resort in the Waikiki Beach zone.

Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchase.
