tak2asprin Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 Was trying for 4 star, Marriot, but no dice bidding up to $54, then I dropped down to 45, and added 3..5 star, and got it first bid, now I wonder how much lower, I could have gone but im still happy with 45, considering I was going to stl anyway and didnt have a hotel for checkin in 14 hours

I never get less than 44.I have stayed at both the Marriott and Hyatt several times.. In my opinion the Hyatt is better. It was recently renovated so you should get a large LCD TV too.Its also in a better location.Have a nice stay
tak2asprin Posted August 11, 2009 Author Report Posted August 11, 2009 I dont know how to modify my orig post the dates of my stay 8/8 and 8/9. The hotel was very nice, 6 block walk to the casino, my favorite bad habit to play poker, directly across from the arch my room had a river view and a partial arch view.Nice workout room for which as far as i know had no addlt charge, or at least when I used it. Flat screen as mentioned by another poster, room was not huge and was not your standard layout, but was just fine for my wife and I and our 15 month old, for which they brought up a crib and fridge, they even had a little baby gift box with J&J products, in the crib. Only thing that sucked was not many places to eat etc nearby, we wanted a pharmacy/grocery nearest place was 3 miles away, no convenience stores etc near by even restaurant selection nearby wasnt what I would expect for a city that size.No pool which disappointed my 3 yr oldBut we loved it, I would give a solid 8/10
