Zeek27 Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 I've been bidding on rooms in NYC well in advance of the date - bids have really gotten higher, than I would have expected.... ....can I wait until a little closer to the date and restart the bidding - "starting with a lower amount than my last bid" - would wait a month before "restarting???? I've currently bid more than 50% of the rates for the area at that time???? Thanks for you assistance....

I've been bidding now and then for a month, inching up to $268 and nothing.... I know that the average for those areas is $453 - so I am right about my limit.... ....should I wait until the first of September and start all over????

Zeek27 Posted August 9, 2009 Author Report Posted August 9, 2009 Can you please post your dates for the stay.Yellowdog. SORRY - looking at the week end after Thanksgiving - know this is a big one - December 3-6, 2009 - thanks....
AaronJB Posted August 9, 2009 Report Posted August 9, 2009 There's a 4* in the Chelsea/MSG area on HOTWIRE for $256 and a 4* in MTE for $319. Otherwise, in terms of MTE/CPS, I'd stop here and wait a week or so and try again.
