BrandonUK07 Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 I started out bidding 100$- no luck, 130$ - no luck and so forth all the way up to 215$. I kept adding zones such as times square, MTW, CPS, EPB etc. I ended up finally winning a 4 star hotel on 52nd and Madison which is the Omni Berkshire Place for $215. Hotel seems okay from what I can tell online, but its main plus is the location on 52nd and Madison (within walking distance of a lot of popular attractions). This seems to be a very busy time of year in NYC because if you try to book rooms without bidding, they start around 400+ for a 4 star. Hope this post helps out others! Email me with questions. Note: On a previous trip, I ended up getting a 4 star at the Benjamin around November for about $150 per night.
