Priceline Hotel: 4* Vancouver (Downtown) Marriott Pinnacle

Hello all,

I was just accepted on a bid of $100 through priceline for a four star hotel in the Vancouver - Downtown area for August 15-17, 2009.

I bid only on 4 Stars, starting with downtown, and was careful to add any zone EXCEPT the airport zone as I wanted to stay downtown and it seemed like through priceline the only four stars or higher were in the downtown and airport zones.

$80, added a zone

$85, added a zone

$90, added a zone

$95, added a zone

$100 - accepted

It turned out to be the Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle Downtown (listed at $222/night Priceline). I've never been to Vancouver and this is for my honeymoon so I'm excited and thankful to get a good price (a 4* Downtown through Hotwire was $113 today, 8/7/09).
